We at Bell Elementary wants to provide a positive learning environment for all students, staff, teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians in the educational process. An inspired, well-trained, professional & empowered faculty takes pride in our school as a quality learning center. The mission of Bell Elementary is "Excellence for Everyone, No Exceptions - No Excuses!" Enrollment has increased from 432 students in 1998-99 to approximately 630 students in the current year of 1999-2000. This increase in students is due to the relocation of second grade from Walker to Bell Elementary this year. Our school now serves students enrolled in primary grades.

In order to meet the needs of a growing population of students, we have constructed a new media center/library, ten classrooms, a science lab, and several resource rooms. Our school has acquired eighty new computers in our technology lab as well as Internet access in all classrooms. We have increased our professional staff to meet the diverse needs of our students & prepare them for the new millennium.

Our Site Based Council, which includes our principal, two parents, and three teachers, is a vital component of our school's overall success. Both administrators and teachers are pro-active in maintaining open communication with parents and encourage families to visit this exemplary school.
